‘The Nightingale Shore Murder – Life and Death of a Queen’s Nurse’ - NEW
This new book, by QNI Director Rosemary Cook, is the first to tell the story of Florence Nightingale Shore, god-daughter of Florence Nightingale, Queen’s Nurse, and decorated war heroine. After an extraordinary life and travels around the globe, she was viciously attacked on a train in suburban England in 1920, and died of her injuries. Scotland Yard could not solve the crime, even with the help of famous Home Office pathologist Sir Bernard Spilsbury. But now there is a new theory and a new suspect. Published at £8.99, a £1 donation to the QNI is included in the sale price.
2012 wall calendar - NEW - The QNI’s wall calendar for 2012 celebrates 125 years since the charity was founded in 1887.
