150th Anniversary Appeal

The Queen’s Nursing Institute is working to raise £150,000 through its 150th anniversary appeal. We receive no statutory funding and rely on the generosity of donors to support community nurses, both working and retired.
There are over 100,000 nurses working in the community in the UK. The QNI supports them in a variety of ways, many of which are designed to enable them to provide you and your family with a more skilled nursing service in your home, or at school or health centre, when you need it. We help them with their professional development and with learning new skills. We provide funding for innovative nursing projects undertaken by individual and by small groups of nurses to develop new best practice. We provide them with advice and information. We also provide financial and personal assistance for those nurses working in the community who fall on hard times.
All these areas of work need expansion as the number of calls we receive for support from community nurses increases. Those nurses who, with your support we could help in these and other ways, could be helping you and your family tomorrow!
If you would like to find out more about how you can help the QNI, please visit our website at www.qni.org.uk , email us at mail@qni.org.uk or call us now on 020 7549 1400. Your donation will help us to help community nurses now and in the future and will be warmly appreciated.
